Higgins Lake Mooring Access Available
Boaters at Higgins Lake may lease slips at the Higgins Lake Boat Yard……….
Recently Gerrish Township and the owners of the Boat Yard, Loren & Wanda Baxter agreed to a short term lease of the facility while the parties are finishing up the purchase agreement conditions so the parties can close the deal that they have been working for years.
The deal will give the public a good opportunity to have a place to launch and moor their boats. I have attached an aerial photo that shows the recent progress that is being made on the dozens of slips that the DEQ permit authorized.
